Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to help manage the flow of products in a multi-temperature distribution setting. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, stock and retrieve items, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily fulfillment operations.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work overtime as needed, and adherence to GMP and company policies while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds as location requires
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and places pallets using forklift or hand stack items.
• Counts incoming freight in staging area and transports to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day's work orders.
• Rotates date-sensitive stock to the front and removes outdated inventory per policy.
• Disposes of over-stocked items to available slots and removes empty pallets as needed.
• Inspects pallets, stacks, and moves pallets to proper storage area.
• Follows all safety policies and ensures work area is safe; reports unsafe conditions.
