Job summary

Core-Mark in Sanford, NC is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to move incoming freight to inventory and stock pick slots while maintaining GMP and safety standards. The role supports a multi-temperature warehouse environment and requires attention to detail, productivity, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution work with forklift experience.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as required.
• Able to lift/reach/push items up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Forklift certification must be obtained.
• Post-offer drug test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Locates proper slot on storage racks and moves pallets with forklift.
• Replenishes pick slots with outgoing stock and rotates stock to the front.
• Disperses overstocked items to available slots.
• Removes empty pallets and packaging to proper areas.
• Inspects pallets for damage and handles equipment safely.
• Follows all safety policies and PPE requirements.
