Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Virginia (near Chester) is seeking a Forklift Operator to move and store merchandise, input data into WMS, and support order picking and shipping. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs, OSHA standards, and quality controls.

You will operate forklifts and other powered equipment, perform routine maintenance, participate in safety meetings, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/warehouse environment.
• Able to operate MHE and maintain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations with accuracy into the WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type loaded for shipping.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Maintain organized work area and keep records to support tight inventory control and security.
• Operate forklift and related equipment safely; perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with SOPs and OSHA standards.
