Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Chantilly, USA seeks a Material Handler-Warehouse Operator to operate a forklift and related equipment for shipping, receiving and picking. You will load/unload, scan, move, stage, replenish and inspect products, reporting damages or discrepancies as needed.

In this role you must meet safety, quality and SOP expectations, while maintaining accurate counts and documentation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment for shipping, receiving and picking.
• Load outbound shipments and unload inbound shipments per SOPs.
• Locate and store products, count and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean, organized work area.
