Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Chantilly, VA, is seeking a Material Handler-Warehouse Operator. You will operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to ship, receive, pick, count, and move products according to SOPs and safety rules.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of logistics experience, and the ability to operate MHE with forklift certification. You will help ensure quality, accuracy, and timely shipments in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment per SOPs.
• Load, unload, and move shipments; scan and stage products.
• Inspect for damages and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area and comply with policies.
• Count/verify quantities during receiving and order picking.
