Job summary

Staffmark in Cleveland, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely move and organize materials within a busy warehouse. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, load and unload trucks, verify quantities, and use RF scanners to track inventory.

The role requires attention to detail, a good safety record, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Evening shifts are common; physical duties include lifting and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
• Move, stage, and organize products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and locations.
• Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory.
• Perform quality checks and report damaged or incorrect materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
