Staffmark Group in Smyrna, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely transport materials and support daily shipping and receiving in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Six months of recent experience operating a stand-up forklift.
• Familiarity with bills of lading, invoices, and shipping orders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to support daily shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Assist with put away, staging and palletizing throughout the warehouse.
• Compare tracking control numbers and count, weigh and measure shipments.
• Use bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records as trained and directed.
• Record receipt of incoming materials and equipment.
• Prepare products and materials for shipment, including packing and protective padding.
• Close and seal packages for shipment.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Perform general labor functions as needed, on and off the forklift.
