Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in Austell, GA to safely move products and materials using sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, and other equipment. You will load and unload shipments, build pallets, and maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanning.

The role requires safety awareness, basic math/reading, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Ability to understand safety procedures, shipping documents, and warehouse processes.
• Experience operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trailers, rail cars, and shipments while ensuring products are secured.
• Build pallets, stack materials, shrink wrap products, and prepare orders for storage or shipment.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory and maintain records.
• Conduct inventory control, cycle counts, and verify shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Conduct quality checks and follow company safety guidelines.
