Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator on-site in Cartersville, GA. You will load and unload palletized freight, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure safe, secure handling of goods on a dock environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred: Dock or warehouse experience in transportation.
• Preferred: Forklift experience in freight or LTL environments.
• Preferred: Experience loading/unloading trailers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move items.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely adhering to company policies.
