Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Temple, TX is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support our food distribution operations. You will move freight with forklift/pallet jack, stock inventory, and help ensure timely, accurate fulfillment in a multi-temperature warehouse.

This role requires reliable attendance, ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and adherence to GMP and safety policies. The schedule is Tue-Sat, 1:00pm–10:00pm, with on-site work and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with forklift or hand stack items.
• Locate and perform count check of incoming freight in staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Remove empty pallets, inspect for damage, and move pallets to proper storage area.
• Follow safety policies and participate in daily safety checks and PPE usage.
