Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Rock Island facility, seeks a Forklift Operator to safely move goods and materials in a high-traffic industrial environment, operate a forklift, scan inventory, and assist with shipping preparations.

The role is full-time and located at our Rock Island, IL manufacturing site. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 1+ year experience operating mobile equipment.
• Basic computer skills including typing, printing, and data entry.
• Ability to read, follow, and complete detailed work instructions.
• Must be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a high-traffic facility.
• Use electronic scanning on the forklift to track inventory.
• Complete pre-operation inspections and report faults.
• Prepare shipments, consolidate pallets, and operate shrink wrap machine as needed.
• Move product throughout the facility, including loading/unloading trailers.
• Follow safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
