Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must complete onboarding with drug screening and background review.
• Must complete new hire training including forklift driving tests.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight in a cross-dock environment with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Manually hand load, recoup, stack, and unstack shipments as necessary.
• Use proper loading techniques and equipment (logistic bars, straps, dunnage, airbags).
• Operate company IT equipment to ensure proper movement of freight.
• Dimension and re-weigh freight to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Inspect freight for damage and document discrepancies.
• Read, write, and understand shipping labels, manifests, freight bills, and internal forms.
• Perform inspections of company equipment.
• Exhibit professional conduct and represent the company positively with customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
