Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate for our Des Moines facility. You will handle general warehouse functions including loading, unloading, depalletizing, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and product selection in freezer, cooler and dry areas.

This full-time role requires forklift certification and experience with MHE, strong safety awareness, and teamwork. The position follows a day shift from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Team environment requires good communication and safety awareness.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift exp. required; reach truck a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow PWMs to move pallets between staging areas using MHE.
• Put away products with reach forklift and other equipment.
• Inspect products for damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Replenish and palletize products following tasks and PWMs.
• Ensure pallets are secured and safely transported to loading areas.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety rules.
