Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to build pallets, stage shipments, and operate reach trucks in a freezer/cooler warehouse environment. The role requires lifting, equipment certification, and adherence to PWMs for safe, accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties and lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE) in a warehouse environment.
• Functional capacity test required.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets in Ti/Hi configuration and ensure correct labeling and quantities.
• Transport pallets between staging areas using MHE.
• Inspect products for shortages, damage, or quality issues and report to supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and comply with safety policies.
