Job summary

XPO Logistics Freight Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Iowa to efficiently sort, load, and unload freight on a non-climate-controlled dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, secure cargo inside trailers, and scan shipments with handheld devices.

The role requires flexibility to work day shifts, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate has dock/warehouse experience, forklift exposure, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Basic math abilities and ability to perform calculations.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Forklift and dock/warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and motivation to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; use equipment safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools.
• Record and track shipments with handheld devices.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
