Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes.
• Preferred forklift experience in a transportation warehousing environment.
• Ability to load and unload trailers with attention to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight on pallets or non-palletized goods.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack and use appropriate tools to secure freight.
• Ensure freight is secured inside trailers and scanned/tracked as required.
• Follow safety policies and work on a dock that may be non climate-controlled.
