Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our logistics team at the Riverton, IL dock. You will efficiently sort, load, and unload freight, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure freight is secured for transport.

The role offers an afternoon shift (14:00-20:00) with competitive benefits for those meeting 30+ hours weekly. Candidates should be at least 18, comfortable with basic math, and able to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts due to varying freight volumes, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
