Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to accurately sort, load and unload freight on a non climate-controlled dock in a fast-paced environment. You will use pallet jacks and forklifts, scan shipments, and help secure loads for transport.

The role offers starting pay at $22.85/hour, day/evening/night shifts, full health insurance from day one, life and disability insurance, paid time off, company holidays, a 401(k) with match and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to perform basic math calculations, with or without a calculator.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts and other equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and supplies.
• Work safely, following company policies and procedures.
• Scan and track shipments with handheld devices.
• Operate on a dock that may not be climate-controlled.
