Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently move palletized freight on a dock and operate powered equipment. The role includes loading/unloading trailers, scanning shipments, and adhering to all safety policies on a non-climate-controlled dock.

The position offers an afternoon shift with pay starting at 22.27 USD per hour and benefits for those working 30+ hours per week. This is an exempt motor carrier position and requires reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move goods.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work on a dock following safety policies and procedures.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Operate on a non-climate-controlled dock for extended periods.
