Job summary

Rich’s, a family-owned food company, is seeking a Forklift Operator in Brownsville, TX to safely operate assigned pallet trucks, move products, and support daily warehouse workflows in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires standing up forklifts, RF scanning, and adherence to GMPs, with duties including loading/unloading, minor vehicle maintenance, and counting inventory while working in a freezer environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1–2 years of experience
• Experience on StandUp Forklifts
• Experience with RF scanning
• Public Safety and Security knowledge
• English language knowledge
• Customer and Personal Service knowledge
• Production and Processing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Operate an assigned vehicle safely and courteously.
• Maintain trailer cleanliness and free of contaminants.
• Provide communication link between customers and staff.
• Follow GMPs for transporting raw and finished goods.
• Assist with loading/unloading and forklift operation.
• Perform minor maintenance on vehicles as required.
• Fuel the assigned vehicle(s).
• Work in freezer environment.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
