Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC seeks a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts and RF equipment. You will ensure accuracy of shipments and maintain inventory integrity in Belvidere, IL.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work overtime or weekends, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and 3 months of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders, check for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as directed.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners in a safe manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production targets while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory checks, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
