Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely receive, store, and ship food products using sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach units, RF scanners, and related equipment. You will help ensure accurate handling and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight, stacking and picking orders, verifying shipments, and assisting with inventory and battery changes as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum experience: 3 months in related work preferred.
• Ability to operate various forklift types safely.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
• Stack, store, pick, and assemble orders for shipment with accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and RF equipment following OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain production standards and a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and forklift battery changes as needed.
