Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates, LLC in Abilene, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials and finished goods, load trailers, and keep storage areas organized and audit-ready.

You’ll use handheld scanners, perform routine inventory counts, and help ensure GMP compliance and food safety standards while supporting production and distribution teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Must be able to operate and maintain a forklift.
• Strong numerical skills for basic math.
• Able to perform quality control checks.
• Able to work overtime.
• Must be able to pass forklift certification within the first week.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely according to standards and instructions.
• Unload and load trailers.
• Use handheld scanners to receive orders and store products.
• Verify and maintain inventory.
• Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Issue products to production lines.
• Consolidate product as needed.
• Keep the area clean and audit-ready.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety standards.
• Complete FSQA training and comply with regulatory requirements.
