Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Must be able to operate and maintain a forklift.
• Strong numerical math skills for basic calculations.
• Ability to perform quality control checks.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must pass forklift certification within the first week.
• Ottawa certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely according to standards and instructions.
• Unload and load trailers.
• Using handheld scanners to receive orders and put away products into storage locations.
• Verify and maintain inventory.
• Perform routine inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Issue products to the production lines.
• Consolidate product as needed.
• Keep the area clean and organized to be audit ready.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety standards.
• Complete FSQA training and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Notify supervisor of any food safety hazards or deviations.
