Job summary

Carpenter Co. in Temple, TX is seeking an Operator B for the Short Block/A-Line on the 3rd shift starting at 7:00 pm, with overtime as needed to finish the day’s work.

The role requires safe operation of a forklift/clamplift, accurate loading/unloading, and coordination with supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules. Candidates should read and write English and be able to work independently in a plant/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand labeling process and read/write English.
• Must be able to recharge forklift batteries and propane tanks as instructed.
• Must obtain Carpenter Co. Forklift Certification.
• Maintain a neat, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in confined areas and around other employees.
• Transport unfinished/finished product to designated locations to meet schedules.
• Communicate with supervisor and colleagues to coordinate material movement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
