Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations. The role requires handling palletized freight, operating forklift equipment, and ensuring safe loading/unloading with adherence to safety policies.

The position offers an afternoon shift (noon–9pm) with full health insurance on day one, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and education assistance. Experience in warehousing and loading trailers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
