Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, handle, load, and unload freight on a busy dock in Kentucky.

The role requires forklift experience, basic math, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Pay starts at $22.85/hour with full health, life and disability insurance on day one, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, and education assistance. This is a physically demanding dock role on a non climate-controlled site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Able to work diverse shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
