Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Groveport, OH location. The role focuses on moving products throughout the warehouse using forklift and other handling equipment, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires forklift certification, basic literacy for work instructions, and the ability to work overtime including some weekends. The first shift runs 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, four 10-hour days, Wednesday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• Must be Forklift Certified and able to operate pallet jacks.
• Experience with RF scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Pull routes using manifests, stage freight, and assist drivers with loading/unloading.
• Handle picking, packing, scanning, and counting as needed.
• Maintain timeliness, accuracy, and safe work practices per TSA/OSHA guidelines.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and read detailed instructions.
