Job summary

RRD in Wisconsin is seeking a Forklift Operator for 3rd shift (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) in Cudahy. The role features a rotating 3/4-day schedule with every-other-weekend work and a starting pay range of $16.50 to $18.00 per hour plus a $3 per hour shift premium.

Responsibilities include moving products, staging shipments, and maintaining materials inventory. Candidates must be able to operate forklifts safely in limited spaces, balance loads, inspect equipment, and follow all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must know forklift dimensions and load capacities.
• Ability to judge doorway/aisle dimensions for safe forklift operation.
• Knowledge of storage area layout and item placement without detailed instructions.
• Skilled in moving forklifts in tight spaces.
• Able to recognize load balance and forklift capability.
• Operates forklifts with precision in narrow aisles and ramps.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage.
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed.
• Stages product to be moved or shipped.
• Racks unused supplies and maintains inventory of type, amount and location.
• Transports and processes manufacturing by-products.
• Empties trash hoppers and performs housekeeping duties as needed.
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs.
• Battery service duties: inspect, recharge, replace batteries and lubricate moving parts.
• May change LP/Propane as required.
• Adheres to all safety policies including hazardous waste handling and lock out-tag out rules.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects.
