Job summary

RRD Company is hiring for a 2nd shift Forklift Operator in Wisconsin. The role offers $16.50–$18.00 per hour with a $2/hr shift premium, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

You will operate equipment, move finished product, stock materials, and stage shipments while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include dock-to-stock workflow, routine hoist inspections, potential battery or LP/Propane tasks, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must know how high, wide, and long the forklift and its load are, and the forklift's lifting capacity.
• Ability to judge doorway and aisle dimensions for safe forklift passage and load placement.
• Knowledge of storage layout to locate and place items with minimal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed
• Stages product to be moved or shipped
• Ranks unused supplies and maintains inventory of type, amount and location
• Transports and processes manufacturing paper by-products
• Empties trash hoppers and performs housekeeping
• Performs daily inspections on hoist and reports maintenance needs
• May include battery service duties such as inspecting, recharging and replacing batteries
• May include changing LP/Propane
• Adheres to safety policies including hazardous waste handling and lockout-tagout rules
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects
