Job summary

RRD is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator in Wisconsin to move finished goods, stage shipments, and support manufacturing with materials. This role requires precise forklift operation, safe handling of loads, and strict adherence to safety policies at all times.

Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The position offers $16.50–$18.00 per hour, plus a $2 shift premium, with opportunities to contribute to inventory accuracy and efficient material flow in a large production environment at RRD.

Qualifications

• Know the dimensions and lifting capacity of the forklift and its load.
• Identify doorway/aisle dimensions to drive the forklift and access shelves.
• Understand storage area layout for locating items without instructions.
• Skilled at moving forklifts in tight spaces.
• Experience with hoist operations and controls for forklift driving in various environments.
• Ability to ensure load is lifted safely and balanced.

• Operate equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage
• Supply Manufacturing with needed materials
• Stage product for shipment
• Rack and track inventory by type, amount, and location
• Transport and process manufacturing paper by-products
• Perform routine housekeeping and waste handling
• Inspect hoist and report maintenance needs
• May perform battery service and lubrication tasks
• May change LP/Propane
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Participate in special projects
