Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator in DeSoto, TX to move pallets and materials, support production, and assist with loading/unloading customer trailers. The role includes hand-sorting pallets and repair tasks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You’ll operate forklifts with care, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Experience in logistics or construction is valued; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1–3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics; lumber, carpentry, construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in labor-intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
