48forty-Solutions,-LLC in DeSoto, TX is hiring a Forklift Operator to move pallets and materials, load/unload customer trailers, and support production needs. Expect 3rd or 4th shift options and competitive pay with benefits. Safety and efficiency are key in this labor-intensive environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; forklift certification is preferred and prior warehouse experience is a plus. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort wooden pallets when required.
• Repair wooden pallets using a nail gun when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
