Job summary

Ferguson is currently seeking 3rd Shift Warehouse Associate Equipment Operators for our Frostproof, FL distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who take pride in safe, accurate, and dependable work.

3rd Shift Schedule: Sun-Th, 9:00 pm - 5:30 am. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, plus FSA/HSA, disability and life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or voice systems preferred.
• Must maintain regular attendance in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures
• Accurately pick, sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and/or labor management systems
• Build, wrap, label, and organize pallets, containers, and materials to maintain inventory integrity
• Maintain product accuracy, quality, and safety at all times while following SOPs
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a team-oriented work environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, participating in ongoing housekeeping efforts
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE and fall-protection equipment when required
• Participate in team meetings and communicate concerns or improvement opportunities to management
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime including extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order selectors, dock stockers) preferred
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, working at heights up to 30 feet, and performing repetitive movements (bending, twisting, reaching)
• Experience with, or readiness to learn, warehouse technology such as RF scanners or voice systems
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

• Pay Range: $15.00 - $23.79
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
