RRD Company in Wisconsin seeks a 3rd shift forklift operator to move finished product, supply materials, and stage shipments on a rotating 3/4 day schedule with weekend rotation. Formación

• Must know forklift dimensions and lift capacity.
• Identify doorway/aisle dimensions needed for loading.
• Know storage layout to locate items without instructions.
• Skilled moving forklifts in tight spaces.
• Advanced controls for driving hoist/clamp trucks.
• Operate forklift controls precisely in narrow spaces and ramps.
• Recognize load lift capability and balance.

Responsabilidades

• Operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage
• Supplies Manufacturing Department with materials as needed
• Stages product to be moved or shipped
• Racks unused supplies and maintains an inventory of type, amount and location of items
• Transports and process manufacturing paper by-products
• Empties trash hoppers and performs other housekeeping duties as needed
• Performs routine daily inspections on hoist and assures maintenance needs are reported
• May include battery service duties such as inspecting, recharging and replacing batteries of electrical leads and battery poles and lubricating truck's moving parts
• May include changing LP/Propane
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out-tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
