Ingram Content Group (ICG) – Forklift Associate
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring forklift Associates to start with our Operations team in La Vergne, TN.
What You Need
- Certification as an equipment operator or qualified for certification.
- 1 year work experience in at least one previous job.
- 6 months' work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.
What You'll Do
- Operate forklift and use a radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
- Move stock as assigned.
- Sign out forklift after completing a daily safety checklist.
- Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Stack product physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
- Load and unload trucks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
- Pass a physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision, hearing, and blood pressure/pulse exams for safe operation of motorized equipment.
- Elevate up to 25 feet in height on equipment.
- Lift/carry up to 70lbs during the shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, 70lbs occasionally.
- Push/pull up to 130lbs force in a warehouse environment – 1‑50lbs continuously, 51‑70lbs occasionally, 71‑130lbs as needed.
- Grip/grasp continuously during the shift.
- Bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the shift.
- Work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the shift and/or weekends.
- Exposure to a wide range of temperatures.
- Successfully complete forklift certification process.
- Reading comprehension skills up to high school level.
- Writing skills up to high school level.Math skills—basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction.
- Attention to detail.
- Work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a warehouse environment.
- Perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Work independently or in a group environment.
- Be flexible/multi‑task based on workflow demands.
- Meet and maintain production standards.
- Maintain reasonably reliable attendance.
- Read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work.
