Job summary

Ingram Content Group in Tennessee seeks a forklift operator to stock and move inventory, using a radio frequency scanner to manage put-away and retrieval tasks. The role requires physical endurance, the ability to pass forklift certification, and a commitment to safety.

The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 7am–3:30pm, with potential overtime. Benefits start on day one, including medical, vision, dental, HSA, FSA, and a tuition reimbursement program, along with a casual dress code.

Qualifications

• Certification as forklift operator or ability to become certified.
• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job.
• 6 months' experience involving standing, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, climbing and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and use RF scanner to perform stocking activities.
• Move stock as assigned.
• Sign out forklift after completing safety checklist.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Stack and unstack products onto pallets repeatedly.
• Load and unload trucks.

What You'll Need:

• Drug and physical screening prior to start
• Certification as an equipment operator or ability to be certified
• 1 year work experience in at least one previous job
• 6 months' work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.

What You'll Do:

• Operateforklift and use radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
• Movestock as assigned.
• Signout forklift after completingdaily safety checklist.
• Reportany unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Stackproduct physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
• Load and unloadtrucks.

Essential Physical Demands:

• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception), hearing, and blood pressure/pulse exams for safe operation of motorized equipment.
• Ability to escape up to 25 feet in height on equipment.
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 70lbs during the assigned shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 70lbs occasionally.
• Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 130lbs force to push during the assigned shift – 1-50lbs continuously, 51-70lbs occasionally, and 71-130lbs as needed for battery changes.
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.
• Exposure to wide range of temperatures
• Ability to successfully complete forklift certification process
