Job summary

Ingram Content Group is hiring for a forklift operator in our warehouse. You will operate a forklift and RF scanner to stock products, move stock, and load/unload trucks. Maintain safety checks and report unsafe conditions while adhering to the shift schedule. Casual dress code applies and overtime may be required.

The role requires certification or ability to obtain it, plus 1 year of work experience and 6 months of hands-on material handling tasks within a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have certification as an equipment operator or ability to obtain certification.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in any role.
  • Six months of work that included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending and related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift and use radio frequency scanner to stock items and perform put-away tasks.
  • Move stock as assigned and stack products on pallets.
  • Sign out forklift after completing the daily safety checklist.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Load and unload trucks as part of the shift.
  • Maintain organized, safe, and efficient warehouse operations.

What You’ll Need:
  • Certification as an equipment operator or ability to be certified
  • 1 year work experience in at least one previous job
  • 6 months' work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard.
What You’ll Do:
  • Operate forklift and use radio frequency scanner to perform stocking activities such as pull down or put away.
  • Move stock as assigned.
  • Sign out forklift after completing daily safety checklist.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Stack product physically onto and off of pallets repetitively throughout the designated shift.
  • Load and unload trucks.
Essential Physical Demands:
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception), hearing, and blood pressure/pulse exams for safe operation of motorized equipment.
  • Ability to elevate up to 25 feet in height on equipment.
  • Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 70lbs during the assigned shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 50lbs frequently, and 70lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 130lbs force during the shift – 1‑50lbs continuously, 51‑70lbs occasionally, and 71‑130lbs as needed for battery changes.
  • Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the shift.
  • Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the shift.
  • Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends.
  • Exposure to wide range of temperatures.
  • Ability to successfully complete forklift certification process.

B Shift - Thursday, Friday, Saturday plus every other Wednesday (7am to 7pm)
