Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for the East Chicago, IN facility. You will unload trailers, move drums, stage materials, and maintain a safe, organized workspace during the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and a working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations. We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision benefits including HSA/FSA options, a 401(k), and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• One year forklift experience desirable.
• Working knowledge of safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and move drums with a forklift
• Follow storage and safety guidelines
• Identify and segregate materials
• Complete daily equipment checks and paperwork
• Help with processing and sampling as needed
• Keep the area clean and organized

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: East Chicago, IN
• Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Pay Range: $20.15-20.88/hr
  • Base Pay: $18.90/hr starting; Increases to $19.63 after 90 days;
  • Operator Pay: $0.75/hr
  • Shift Differential: $0.50/hr

We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle incoming drums and materials, stage them for processing, and keep the work area safe and organized.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus
• One year forklift experience
