Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a forklift operator for our Rhode Island facility. The role involves moving raw materials, finished goods, and inventory within the warehouse and production areas, loading and unloading trucks, and performing daily safety inspections.

Basic math and computer skills are required, along with the ability to read and write in English. Prior manufacturing and warehouse experience are strongly preferred, and you will work in a team-oriented environment with competitive shift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Proficient in basic math and computer knowledge.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying material quantities and maintaining accurate inventory movement.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support shipping, receiving, and production teams as needed.

Shifts: Monday through Friday.

2nd Shift: 3 PM to 11 PM. $24.25.

3rd Shift: 11 pm to 7 am. $24.25.
