Prysmian is seeking an entry-level operator to input data at a Machine Center, verify accuracy, and assist with setups and material moves in a manufacturing environment in Rhode Island. This role starts on the 3 PM to 11 PM shift and emphasizes safety and quality in daily tasks.

Shift: Monday through Friday 3 PM to 11 PM

Responsibilities

• Required to input information into a Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy.
• Will be responsible for setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required.
• Required to follow safety guidelines for themselves and their coworkers. This will involve daily safety start up checks as well as safety checks throughout the shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Solid, stable work history with previous industrial experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
• Participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
