Job summary

Prysmian in Lincoln, RI is hiring a machine operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will input data into a Machine Center, perform setups and reel changes, and ensure accurate material relocation while adhering to safety requirements.

The role emphasizes teamwork, basic math, reading instructions, and computer use, with full-time hours and competitive benefits. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Solid, stable work history with industrial experience is preferred.
• Proficient in basic math, reading and comprehension of work instructions, and use of a computer.
• Participate in safety/quality/production improvement activities.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Input information into a Machine Center computer and verify for accuracy.
• Responsible for setups, changeovers, reel changes and material relocations as required.
• Follow safety guidelines for themselves and coworkers.
• Daily safety start up checks as well as safety checks throughout shifts.

Shifts: Monday through Friday. 2nd shift: 3 PM to 11 PM. 3rd shift: 11PM to 7AM. Pay Rate: $24.25.
