Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently sort, load, and unload freight on a dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure cargo is secure in trailers.

This role requires at least 18 years old, basic math, and flexible shifts; preferred dock/warehouse and forklift experience. Benefits include health insurance from day one, a 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Ability to do basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends).
• Forklift or dock/warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate fork-lift and pallet jack safely.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools and supplies.
• Follow safety policies and work efficiently on a dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
