Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team. You will efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight, and operate forklift and pallet jack using handheld scanners.

Pay starts at $22.27/hour with full health insurance on day one, life and disability coverage, 13 days of PTO, 9 company holidays, a 401(k) with company match and education assistance. The role is on a dock not climate-controlled.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jack and forklift (motorized and manual).
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
