Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our Logan Township, NJ plant. This 1st shift role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. Competitive salary and benefits, plus up to $1.00/hr after 90 days, await a proactive team player.

The operator will pick, ship and/or receive products, follow supervisor instructions, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. Growth opportunities exist within our team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift and walkie rider.
• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Willing to pass forklift driving test at interview.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship and/or receiving products timely.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
• Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
