Job summary

Carter Lumber in Georgia is seeking individuals who enjoy teamwork, outdoor work, and hands-on tasks. You will pull and stage roof and floor trusses for pickup or delivery, and help load large truss packages onto tractors.

You will also support yard inventory, keeping areas organized and clean in all weather. We value customer service, a friendly personality, and a team‑oriented attitude; multiple shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Friendly personality.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.
• Heavy equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage roof and floor trusses for pickup and/or delivery.
• Assist in loading large truss packages onto Tractor Trailers for delivery.
• Maintain inventory in the yard by keeping it organized and clean.

Description

You will pull and stage Roof and Floor trusses to be picked up and/or delivered. You will also assist in loading large truss packages on Tractor Trailers for delivery. It will also be a requirement to help maintain the inventory in the Yard by keeping it organized and clean.
