Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is hiring for a yard associate in Easley, SC. You will assist contractors and DIYers with selecting and loading orders, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and maintain yard inventory. Forklift operation is used, with training and certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading of orders

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
