Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products within our distribution center in Covington, GA. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficient pallet handling, unloading, put-away, and replenishment using high reach, counterbalance forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and dock stockers.

Responsibilities include operating MHE, using RF scanners and Manhattan WMS to ensure inventory accuracy, following safety procedures, and providing backup support as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant experience required.
• Intermediate experience with high reach or counterbalance required.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.

Work days/hours: Mon - Thurs 8pm - 6: 30am DT required Education NOT required

Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
• Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant experience required, Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
• Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong initiative and drive for results.

Work Environment:

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles. This role may require a mandatory medical evaluation in compliance with Client's obligations under applicable occupational health and safety laws.
