Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move products within our distribution centre. You will load, unload, and place palletized goods, using reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts, while ensuring accuracy with RF scanners and the WMS.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (or 1 year of experience in lieu), and familiarity with safety procedures and PPE. Intermediate forklift experience and ability to read distribution documents are preferred; strong reliability is

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
• Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
• Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas
• Provide backup support when required.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
• Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner. Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
• General distribution knowledge.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong initiative and drive for results

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
