Staffmark Group in Worcester, PA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely handle materials and support inventory movements in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate forklifts, load and unload pallets, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Pick and move inventory to correct location for inspection or shipment.
• Verify lot numbers and quantities for accuracy; identify damage.
• Pack, wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment per procedures.
• Assist with order maintenance and warehouse support as needed.
• Follow SOPs, SOWs, safety requirements, and 5S standards.
• Communicate with coworkers to maintain safety and productivity.
• Complete required training and report safety concerns.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

Job Duties

• Pick, inspect, and move inventory to the correct location for inspection or shipment
• Verify lot numbers, quantities, purchase orders, and shipping orders for accuracy; identify damage or defects
• Pack, wrap, label, and prepare pallets and orders for shipment
• Safely operate required warehouse equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Assist with order maintenance, basic order troubleshooting, and warehouse support as needed
• Follow SOPs, SOWs, safety requirements, and 5S standards
• Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors to maintain service, safety, and productivity
• Complete required training and report policy or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen
• Must have at least 1 year of warehousing, distribution, and various forklift equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
• Must have steel-toes or composite shoes
